Pi Day 21 Puzzle 12

Attention! Attention! Calling all cryptographers! 

Headquarters has intercepted a secret encrypted cross-stitch pattern, and it's up to you to crack the code!

You have to decrypt the message, discover its hidden keyword, and unlock the secret pattern, all using only your wits-- and possibly a handy spreadsheet. 

The actual solving for this pattern can be done equally well on paper or in the spreadsheet; I guess the spreadsheet is slightly more convenient, but not by much.

If you choose to decode the message entirely on paper, you'll just need to plug the keyword into the spreadsheet at the end to reveal the pattern.
